Patients registered with the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program (OMMP), and MAMA's Executive Director Sandee Burbank, were barred from an Albany Chamber of Commerce meeting to discuss drugs in the workplace. At that time, Sandee Burbank was Chair of the Department of Human Services Advisory Committee on Medical Marijuana. Alice Ivany is a grandmother who uses medical cannabis to relieve the pain caused by the loss of her arm in an industrial accident. As Alice asked for the return of her registration fee, she was hurt by a man who grabbed her arm and pushed her.
